About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Grace Houle, I am married to a wonderful husband named Andrew Houle. We have three kids Jayden (2), Isabella (4), Timothy (5), another on the way, and one baby that is waiting for us in Heaven (miscarriage).
Our oldest son just started Kindergarten. Yikes. My kids are my joy, and I am blessed EVERY single day by being a part of their lives. I was raised in a pretty big family, there were 7 kids, and 3 more that went to be with the Lord early (miscarriages) I have lived in the country most of my life, and LOVE it. I moved to a more suburban area for five years, and missed my country setting, but now I am back so all is well.
Why I started blogging?
About 3 years ago my husband was running a successful blog called MyInkBlog (he has since sold it) about all things web related, and one day randomly in conversation he suggested to me about writing a blog. I brushed it off, because I really couldn’t think of a topic that I would want to passionately write about on a consistent basis, but God saw the big picture and was already planting the seeds of future events.
Well, during that season of life I was really praying about what God wanted me to do, I had tried different ministry opportunities but I wanted to minister in a place that I could still be with my kids. Than the thought came to mind to blog about Christian topics. The hopes would be to seek out what I truly believed, and share my conclusions with others. Along my journey, I have also added family testimonials, because it is such a huge part of my life and growing experiences.
Here is a little snap shot of some of my articles
Publications
One opportunity that I was blessed with was the ability to write an article called “Blooms of Beauty” for the magazine Life Beautiful.
Back story: I randomly received a message in my inbox from Steve Cooper an editor from the magazine Life:Beautiful asking me to write an article. I had no idea who he was, and never heard of the magazine. My husband and I were moving with our three kids from one side of NY to the other, so it was not the ideal timing, but I agreed, and I am so glad that I did. They are a really reputable magazine, and I love the magazine so much, I read every issue I can get!
Awards
I am excited to announce that Poured Out His Love won the Liebster Award! It’s an award given to blogs with less than 200 followers in any one social outlet. It’s designed to show recognition and appreciation for an up-and-coming blog.

Purpose for blogging
My passion is to encourage other woman and see their life transformed by Christ. I have always desired a community website, where I hear from my readers on what’s going on in their life and their personal story, it truly blesses my heart and increases my faith. I know lives are not transformed unless God is a part of the process, so when I witness or hear testimonies of lives that are changed I know it is a miracle, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
